How to Get to Puerto Galera
The transfer from Manila to Batangas takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours by private vehicle, depending on traffic conditions. Our team ensures a comfortable and hassle-free journey as you travel through scenic routes to Batangas Port. Upon arrival at the port, you will disembark and proceed to the ferry terminal, where you will board a ferry that will take you to Puerto Galera. Garden of Eden Dive Resort Airport Transfer Information
To ensure you arrive in Puerto Galera on the same day as your flight, please note that boats can only cross from Batangas to Puerto Galera between 6 AM and 6 PM. To make the crossing before sunset, we recommend that your flight lands before 12 noon. This will provide enough time for the transfer and boat journey to the resort.
In the event of bad weather, boat travel may be restricted or cancelled. This could require an overnight stay in Batangas or an alternative route from Calapan City port in Mindoro, which adds approximately 1.5 hours to your travel time to Puerto Galera with an additional charge for the Mini-Van arranged. The Garden of Eden team will work diligently to ensure your transport remains as smooth as possible, even during adverse weather conditions.
Pickup Instructions
From Manila Airport Terminal 1:
- Upon exiting the terminal building, cross the pedestrian crossing and take the tunnel on the right that leads down to the lower level.
- At the bottom, turn left and look for the sign marked “Bay 4,” which is located in front of the DUTY FREE store.
- You’ll see our airport representative or driver will be wearing Garden of Eden Dive Resort polo shirt and holding a Garden of Eden Dive Resort sign. Follow the directions in the image below to meet your driver.
From Manila Airport Terminal 2:
- After departing the main terminal building, head to the arrivals area and look for Bay #16 our airport representative or driver will be wearing will be wearing a Garden of Eden Dive Resort polo shirt and holding a Garden of Eden Dive Resort sign.
From Manila Airport Terminal 3:
- Head to the arrivals area but do not exit the main building.
- Walk towards Burger King, and you will find our airport representative or driver wearing a Garden of Eden Dive Resort polo shirt and holding a Garden of Eden Dive Resort sign.
Private Transfer from Manila to Puerto Galera
VIP Express Transport Service
For guests who have booked their transfer with us, our airport representative will be waiting for you just outside the baggage claim area at Manila Airport, holding a sign with the Garden of Eden Dive Resort logo. They will assist you with your luggage and guide you to our private, air-conditioned minivan. From there, you’ll enjoy a comfortable, hassle-free journey to Batangas, where your speedboat at Berberabe Port will be ready to take you directly to the resort.
If booked, our private water taxi partner, can accommodate up to 10 passengers and their luggage, ensuring a seamless transfer to the resort. The boat journey to Puerto Galera takes approximately 30–40 minutes.
The VIP Express Transport Service is available 365 days a year. However, please note the following:
- Boats are only permitted to cross from Batangas to Puerto Galera between 6 AM and 6 PM. To ensure you reach Puerto Galera on the same day as your flight arrival, your scheduled flight should land before 12 noon. This allows sufficient time to catch a daytime crossing.
- In cases of bad weather, the services of speedboats, fast crafts, and ferries may be restricted or cancelled. Rest assured, our GOE team will do their utmost to ensure your transport is as smooth and timely as possible.

Getting to the Resort from Manila using Public Transport and Public Ferry
To ensure you arrive at Garden of Eden Dive Resort in Puerto Galera on the same day as your flight, we recommend that your flight lands before 12 noon. This allows sufficient time for your transfer to Batangas and the boat journey to the resort.
Taxi and Ride-Sharing Options
Taxis are readily available throughout Metro Manila, but we also recommend using the Grab app as a convenient alternative. Grab is widely used and easy to access for transportation across the city.
Public Bus to Batangas Pier
Public non-stop buses to Batangas Pier depart regularly from the JAM Liner PITX bus terminal, located just 10–20 minutes by taxi from the airport. The bus ride to Batangas takes approximately 2 hours and costs around 300 PHP.
Once you arrive at Batangas Pier, you’ll need to cross the road to reach the main ferry terminal building, which will be on your right-hand side. Inside the terminal, you’ll find the ferry company ticketing booths. You can choose between slower RO-RO ferries or faster fastcraft options. After purchasing your ferry ticket, please remember to pay the 30 PHP terminal fee. Official porters are available to assist with luggage, but be sure to purchase your ferry tickets only from the official booths.
- Fastcraft to Balatero Port: This journey takes around 1 hour.
- RO-RO Ferries to Balatero: These ferries take about 2 hours, and they may be the only option in times of gale warnings.
Ferry Schedule
Please be advised that the public ferry schedule is subject to change or cancelled without prior notice by the ferry company. To ensure a smooth journey, we recommend contacting Garden of Eden Dive Resort or the ferry company directly for the most up-to-date schedule before departing from Manila.
For Afternoon or Evening Arrivals
If you arrive later in the day, we recommend the SiKat escorted bus and boat service. This service departs from the City State Hotel in Ermita, Manila, located on Mabini Street. Arrival at Puerto Galera
Once you arrive at either Balatero Port or Muelle Port in Puerto Galera, Garden of Eden Dive Resort can assist in arranging transport to our resort. The transfer to the resort takes about 20 minutes. For your safety and comfort, we advise against using motorcycle or tricycle rides.

Resort Minibus Service to Batangas Pier
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transported to Batangas Port, which is approximately a 1-to-1.5-hour drive, depending on traffic conditions.
Once you arrive at Batangas Pier, our driver will drop you off at the main entrance of the ferry terminal building (marked with a grey-colored gate). A ferry company attendant will be available to assist you with your ferry ticket. The ferry attendant will get the earliest possible ferry ticket at the time of convenience. Official porters are available to assist with your luggage. Please ensure that you purchase your ferry tickets only from the official ticketing booths.
- Fastcraft to Balatero Port: This journey takes around 1 hour.
- RO-RO Ferries to Balatero: These ferries take about 2 hours, and they may be the only option in times of gale warnings.
